| South Germantown Recreational Park (11 sub-boards)
n the 1960s, M-NCPPC began acquiring the land that is now South Germantown Recreational Park in order to preserve open space and provide parkland for residents in northern Montgomery County. Most of the park’s 695 acres of rolling hills were once the James and Macie King Farm, a working dairy farm since the mid-1800s. The park’s state-of-the-art facilities offer visitors a variety of leisure activities from which to choose, including hiking, biking, archery, miniature golf, swimming, soccer, picnicking, and adventure play, to name just a few. Facilities are still being added to accommodate residents’ diverse interests.

The Gaithersburg Latitude Observatory, in Gaithersburg, Maryland is one of the system of six International Latitude Observatories and (as of 2007) the only National Historic Landmark in Gaithersburg, Maryland The building is in the National Register of Historic Places. The GLO was constructed by Edwin Smith, chief of the Instrument Division of the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey.

| Seneca Creek State Park
The park, comprised of 6,300 acres, extends along 14 scenic miles of Seneca Creek, as it winds its way to the Potomac River. The Clopper Day-Use Area contains many scenic areas, including the 90-acre Clopper Lake, surrounded by forests and fields. Picnicking, boat rentals, trails and a tire playground are just some of its recreational opportunities. A restored 19th century cabin and a self-guided path interpret the history of the area. Nearby, the Schaeffer Farm Trail Area offers 12 miles of marked trails for hiking and mountain biking. For the more adventuresome hiker, the 16.5-mile Seneca Creek Greenway Trail follows the entire course of the river. During May, the Schwartz peony gardens and field plants are in bloom. WINTER LIGHTS FESTIVAL takes place there every winter

Description: This three story home is big. Maybe a little too big for this family. But, they still love it. Anna has a crib in her room for Adam when she's baby sitting him. She sits at her desk, writing her novel while watching him. Amanda also has a crib for the rest of the time. She's usually working on homework or sleeping, though.

This apartment is located in the development called Pinnacle at Town Center. It is in the heart of the town center. It houses Jamie and his parents. It is a two bedroom with a loft. Jamie sleeps in the Loft and his parents sleep in the other bedroom.
